Bay State Equine Rescue Inc. wants to better the community by:

• Educating the public on the proper care and handling of equines
  
  
• Educating the community about abuse and neglect
  
  
• Educating local schools on the responsibility involved in owning and caring for equines
  
  
• Providing horsemanship education to underprivileged children
  
  
• Working with local youth agencies to promote animal care awareness
